Volunteer Associate

Job Title: Landlord Engagement Specialist
Reports to: Resource Manager
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9am-1pm

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

  • Contact (email, call or text) volunteers that are new and looking to volunteer for their first time 

  • Perform the background check on new applicants 

  • Contact (email, call or text) volunteers that have previously volunteered and recruit them to join us again 

  • Remind scheduled volunteers of their schedules and confirm  

  • Check other signup sources (e.g., signup genius) for new volunteers to schedule 

Education and/or Experience Required

  • Not required.  Must pass pitch training on who is FAM (when made available to you) 

Skills & Abilities

  • Self-motivated and determined 

  • Organized, very detail-oriented, able to anticipate issues that may arise 

  • Good customer service skills
